The GVR Artisans' Shop is a dedicated club space at the West Center in Green Valley that, for over 40 years, has served as an outlet for a wide array of unique, hand-crafted items created by the club's members and available for sale.

About our Expansion
The GVR Artisans' Shop will be closed for renovation March 27th through the end of May. please check back frequently for updates on our progress.
Our New Look
When we re-open, we will have twice the space, thereby offering an enhanced shopping experience for our customers. Increased inventory, new artists, and more space for moving through the shop with ease, especially for those who use assisted mobility devices.

EXPANSION UPDATES
PHASE ONE--OUR CUPBOARDS ARE BARE!
It was no small task to empty our shop, but many hands and several days after we began, no products remained. The shop is now ready for construction to commence. Placement of our new back wall has been marked and is awaiting framing. Removal of some existing walls has not yet begun but expected to start soon.
PHASE TWO--THE TEARDOWN
THE WALLS COME TUMBLING DOWN . . .
This week saw the teardown of our existing back wall begin. The next step is to tear down the former closet space in order to remove that entire back wall. The footer has also been placed for the wall at the back of our new space. We're on the way!

Up go the new walls
The back wall of our new space is almost complete , and our new storage area has been constructed.
We're Getting Closer!
The back wall of our new space is finished and our new storage closet complete. This photo is before the carpet was totally replaced. Cabinets and countertops are in the final stages and should be placed soon. The entire space has been repainted, and accent color will be applied next. New track lights hace been installed along with a larger celing panel light.
PHASE FOUR--The FINISHING TOUCHES
PAINTING COMPLETE
Our lucsicious accent color adds just the right touch , and nicely complements our new checkout counters and pale yellow larger wallss (see photos below).

Using a design created by members of our club, our fellow artisans at the Woodshop fabricated our two new check out counters. The selection of this beautiful light wood is a perfect blend with our slatboard display walls. Notice the newly installed track lights above our back check-out counter.
CONTEMPORARY DISPLAY AREA
The wall between the original front and back of previous shop has been redesigned with two cutouts to increase display area and capitalize on light. Notice the accent color on the inside of each cutout.
PHASE FIVE--CLEANING AND RESTOCKING
The Gallery
The former front entrance area to our shop has been transformed and will now focus on upscale items such as silver jewlery, hand woven items, and a variety of wall art.
